February Beauty Faves..

Hello Everybody, I hope you all  had a great start to the month and also a very happy and colourful Holi. So am back this month with some amazing beauty products that I got to try out last month, which for once I have a lot. As many of you would know, last month was a lot of travel to different places, weddings, parties etc. So all these products have been through extreme tests in different weather conditions and they did all and more I expected them too. So, I hope you will like them as well.

Hedonista Clear Moisturiser:
Starting off with skincare, this is the first product that I have tried from this brand. I heard a lot about it from everyone and finally got this from Smytten (if I am not wrong). The one thing that made I liked is the product is handmade and all natural, the scent of sweet vanilla & lavender lingers for a bit and I love it. Its very light-weight, quick absorbing, gel moisturiser which is great for people especially with oily skin. It makes the skin soft and supple and gives a good base for makeup application as well. On top of everything the packaging is very handy to travel with.

Blotting Papers:
These were the biggest hit of the month. I lost touch with them for some reason but last month made me fall in love with them all over again. I first picked up the ones from Forever21 store while shopping and later on bought the Oriflame sheets. The one from Forever21 work just fine with absorbing the oil/ grease on the skin but the Oriflame sheets actually mattify the skin(which I personally like a lot). Very easy to use and convenient to carry and one stop solution for that instant fresh looking skin. A must try if you haven’t so far!!

Kara NailPolish Remover Wipes:
I saw this product on Amazon and wasn’t very sure about it but wanted to give it a go. And luckily it worked! When you are on long trips, you absolutely don’t wanna worry about carrying that bottle of remover however easy it is, and these wipes work really well. If you are someone who is into nail paints and colours this is a blessing. Be done with the task of removing the nail paint while on the go (in the cab or waiting at the airport lounge 😛 ). Saves some time and you get 30 wipes for 100 bucks. One wipe is good enough for both the hands and it is also very gentle on the nails.

Faces Mono Eyeshadow in Matte Black & Gold:
If you are someone like me who rarely invests in makeup and especially something like eyeshadows, you need to be very careful about where you put your money. I didn’t want to invest in a big palette as I knew I won’t get much use out of it but I wanted to have something handy to add that instant extra glow. So I picked up these mono eyeshadows from Faces. The matte black and glittery gold seemed perfect for my party needs. The colours are highly pigmented, easy to apply and blend very well with each. Plus they are very long-lasting even without the eyeshadow base.

Oriflame Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls:
Want to add that subtle, shimmer, bronzy glow then these powdery balls are your best friend. Just swirl a brush or use the cushion that comes with it and voila! It gives a seamless, natural, metallic sheen that stays for about 3 hours. I very often used this as eyeshadow as well and it worked perfectly fine. It comes in different hues so you can pick what best suits your skin tone and get ready with the radiant glow.

Oriflame Amber Elixir Night:
This was my goto Perfume all through the month so much so that I am going to run out of it pretty soon. The Perfume is in a bottle that is an absolute reflection of the scent, sensual and elegant in black and gold. The scent is exactly the same, very warm and sensual and lasts through the night.

  1. Top notes are Bergamot, Wild Rose & Incense
  2. Middle notes are of Amber & Benzoin
  3. Base notes are my favourite Vanilla, Patchouli & Sandalwood

The Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil:
And I saved the best one for last 🙂 😀 . Lets keep the fact aside that I love BodyShop, but this being the first time I used Body Oil I am very impressed. The glass bottle might seem difficult to carry around but its worth it. The application is fairly simple, pour the product as required on your palm and massage in circular motion to get the best effect. It gives a very subtle bronzy shimmer look when applied. Apart from giving a glow to the skin, it also acts as a skin care product as it has Brazil nut oil and beeswax making it an absolute win win..
