September Faves..

Helloo Again lovely people.. October is here, and with it comes the festive, party season. Diwali, I have a few trips planned in the coming months, my Birthday, Christmas and NewYears; in short meeting friends and family and a lot of travel, fun and parties.. Yey!! Keeping aside my excitement for now, let’s dive into Favourites for the month. I didn’t try anything very exciting or different but I just have some everyday kinda products that I loved last month. So let’s begin as I have a lot to share today..

Specs Lenskart : So starting with a very casual thing. These specs from John Jacobs, Lenskart. Now I had a pair before (also John Jacobs, pics below) and I love it too much, it’s just that picture perfect frame that you would want to wear anywhere and everywhere. But I got too bored of them and decided to keep them aside for a while and was looking for new, sleek, minimal looking pair and ended up buying this and one more cause I couldn’t decide which one I preferred  more 😛 . I have just used this one all through last month and I absolutely love it for the fact that it’s super light weight. Maybe I will try out the other pair next month and share with you all. I sometime feel I should move onto lenses and get rid of specs, but then I don’t like all the effort that comes with it, so sticking with good ol favourite specs for now.

Nykaa Cookie Crumble Nail Enamel: Next up is this NailPaint from Nykaa which is literally everywhere. There isn’t any blogger I guess who hasn’t already talked about this. Its nail art in an instant guys and I love it that they have come up with 7 different shades in the range. This one is Vanilla Crisp and these are priced at INR 199. It glides very smoothly on the nails and gives a very flattering look. But since it has these particles in the paint to give nail art look, it was pretty difficult to take off which brings me to my next favourite.

Colorbar NailPolish Remover: I never ever experimented with NailPaint Removers before cause I thought how different a NailPaint remover could be, it ultimately has to do the simple job of removing the NailPaint right! But this was a very sweet surprise, it takes off NailPaint with very minimal effort, doesn’t have that stingy Acetone smell that irritates me to death. The bottle says it has Protein and Vitamin B5 which I can’t figure out how it’s gonna help but it definitely doesn’t leave the nails feeling dry and in need of a nail cream. The Jojoba Oil in it nourishes and moisturises the nails while doing it’s job.

Patanjali Sheetal Oil: I know some of you might be really surprised to see this but just hear me out. It’s one of the amazing products from Patanjali Range that I have so far tried, tested and repurchased. I did a Patanjali Haul long back and got this Hair Oil, it is magic in the bottle. Reduces hair fall, dry scalp, any sort of irritation and priced at a very minimal INR 55. When I used it the first time I couldn’t actually pin point my happy hair situation to this, but as soon as I stopped using it the hair fall got back to bad and after trying out different things, I came back to it again and I have started to see the results in 2-3 applications. So worth a try if you have any hair troubles 🙂 .

Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon: Whenever I wear Lipstick or LipColour of any sorts, its always either in the family of Nude/ Brown shades or Red/ Dark colours. For a long time I was looking for a different shade to try on but could never pick up anything perfect 😦 . I finally landed on this as one of my friend’s suggested it. It’s the shade Pink Burst and is priced INR 185. Its decently long wear, doesn’t dehydrate the lips and has lil shimmer to it. I am still looking for a better shade, but till then this is doing a great job.

Bath & Body Works Forever Red Fragrance Mist: This spray smells amazing, its not too strong or too light, its just enough to smell good as you walk past someone. There is no need to spray too much of this as a little goes a long way, and as you can see in the pic I have already used up about half of it. I kinda liked the packaging and that bow thing initially,  but it got a bit annoying after a point in time. That aside I guess its another good product from Bath & Body Works.

Speaking of scents there are 2 more that I have used on and off last month:

Nike Women Pure Deo: This was the very first Deo and if I am not wrong the only scent that I used in college. I tried a few others on and off back then but always came back to this and ever since it’s always always been on my shelf for sentimental reasons. It instantly brings back so many sweet college memories and I can’t even recall how many times I have repurchased this thing. Its has an amazingly fresh scent, super super long lasting and the best of all Nike Women Range. Must Try!!

Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber Fine Fragrance Mist: This one is a new addition to my shelf and it’s pretty decent. It’s a very floral scent so I don’t go over the top with it, but for the times when I want something very very light, refreshing pick me up kinda scents I use this one.

FabIndia Cypress Perfume Oil: This is my second bottle of Perfume Oil and I am pretty sure that I love it enough to not stop at 2. This one from FabIndia made me fall in love with Perfume Oils and Cypress both at one go. It’s a sweet, relaxing, soothing fragrance made up with essential oils like sweet almond oil, sesame oil and grape seed oil and cypress oil which last for long hours. It’s priced INR 290 and is perfect to carry along through the day or while traveling without any hassles. Love it!

Nourish Organics Omega Seed Mix: Moving onto healthy eating, I have lately been trying to very consciously improve my eating habits and routine and things that I need to care of at personal level. I feel I am beyond the point where I can reap the benefits of a healthy body without putting in any effort to it. So, there have been a lot of changes in my lifestyle and I guess there are going to be a lot more in the coming few months. Now, I don’t have enough time to spend in the Kitchen and meal prep etc. so I am looking for ways to eat healthy on the go. This is a ready mix of Flax Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Buck Wheat & Sunflower Seeds in short a good dose of superfoods that I toss on my salads or sandwiches or omelette and be done!

Moving onto Books, I am trying to get back to reading mode and the last one that I read was Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy. I love reading Self Improvement Books and it’s not easy to find a good read. This was suggested by a Friend and it’s a very good book if you feel that you Procrastinate stuff at a certain level or even otherwise to improve your productivity. I won’t talk about this much here as I am going to do a separate Blog on it soon so stay tuned for that.

I loved the flick Bareilly ki Barfi, another amazing performance by Rajkumar Rao and the track that I enjoyed a lot last month is Circles by Levis. Every time I hear it, it just lifts my mood up instantly and make we wanna dance and get Shit done. And on that note time to close this blog up and I will see you sometime this week again with another one.

In pursuit of a Happy, Healthy and Hearty Life. Hope you find some words of wisdom in here or just a friend who is striving to be better everyday!
