Tea is the second most popular beverage in the world after water. With such a high demand, it is understandable that tea needs to be produced on a mass scale, and across the world in varied locations. India is the second largest producer of tea in the world, producing an average 900,000 tonnes each year. We are a nation of over one billion tea drinkers, and over 70% of the tea produced is consumed within the nation.
Kerala is one of the largest tea producing states of the country and hence for someone like me who loves tea and lush green lands, getting a combination of both was such a pleasure to the soul. Luckily the weather was also so damn amazing that we got some wonderful shots of the tea estates in Kerala. It’s so much fun to stop the car in the middle of your planned itinerary just to wander around in an estate that looks heavenly. So, here I am sharing with you some shots that really touched my heart and instantly take me back to the wonderful trip in those beautiful lands. So take a look and I hope you get the urge to make a trip to Kerala post this and if not there is more coming up soon! 🙂 🙂
