So, this was my second trip to Himachal ( am hoping first of many many more to come ) after Shimla years ago. We drove from Delhi to McLeodGanj and the drive was nothing less than fascinating. The adventurous part started the moment we crossed Dharamshala and the roads started turning and twisting around making us feel like a roller-coaster ride. And it became even more thrilling when we had to navigate our way through the most narrow and definitely the steepest street market road I have ever seen. Every second there felt like a debate in the head, Are we gonna go up or down 😛 ? But all in all, it was great fun an adventure sport of its own and the first sight of this lovely place when we reached our hotel made it all worth the wait!
The weather was misty and rainy both the days, so walking around exploring the market and the restaurants got even more fun. Apart from the places that you will see in the shots below, we also saw Bhagsu Falls and Bhagsunath Temple but I missed to carry my cam there 😦 . My next time itinerary for this place is already decided which would definitely includes trekking to Triund and maybe Dhauladhar ranges as well. Let me know how was your experience.
