Long ago, there lived a girl who visited Delhi for a weekend to have some fun with her friends and she lived happily ever after 😀 😀 !
Sorry for the fairytale starting but I couldn’t resist typing it out 🙂 . So like I said, a few months back I stayed in Delhi on my way home for a weekend. We didn’t plan on anything in advance, so we decided to spend our first day shopping around on the streets of CP, getting some good wine in our bellies, checking out Madame Tussauds (as no one in the group had been there by then) and then figuring out a party place to get some more wine 😛 .
To give some facts about Madame Tussauds straight from the wiki 😛 , it is a wax museum in London with smaller museums in a number of other major cities. It was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud. It used to be known as “Madame Tussaud’s”; the apostrophe is no longer used. Madame Tussauds is a major tourist attraction in London, displaying the waxworks of famous and historic people and also popular film characters. The first Madame Tussauds in India opened in Delhi in December 2017 with its operator Merlin Entertainments foraying into India with an investment plan of 50 million pounds over the next 10 years.
I felt this was the best work among all statues inside.
We were done with all our madness and screaming and picture clicking in just about half an hour. And then finished the day off with friends and food. Next day was again an unplanned day and I ended up at Lodhi Gardens. Loved that place very much, will soon put up that blog as well and till then you guys have a happy week ahead! See you soon.
