Ever since I have known about Pantone, I have been diligently following them. I have written blogs about the colors they pick every year. It is really interesting to see the colors picked and the thought process behind choosing a particular color for the year and then following the colors journey throughout the year. Seeing these colors popup from the Pantone website to everywhere around is just great and knowing the story makes it even better. Also, their Instagram page is so damn beautiful, colorful and creative.
It now feels incomplete if I don’t talk about the color of the year and share some pictures to inspire you all in your fashion and decor choices. So let’s take a look at the Color of 2019, Living Coral. “Living Coral is an animating and life-affirming shade of orange with a golden undertone. We get energy from nature. Just as coral reefs are a source of sustenance and shelter to sea life, vibrant yet mellow PANTONE Living Coral embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment. – Pantone Color Institute“

What’s more interesting about this year is that Living Coral is the 20th Pantone Color of the Year and hence Pantone has partnered with some major giants to promote the same.
Tribute Portfolio, Marriott International’s newest collection of independent and characterful hotels, to create a first-of-its-kind pop-up pantry that will allow people to experience an immersive tribute to color at select hotels around the world.
