Varanasi was one of those trips for me that you plan to go to for personal reasons and as soon as you reach you realise you are should have planned to stay longer. I went to Varanasi early this year to attend the wedding of a very dear friend of mine, and as I had already been to cities like Haridwar and Allahabad I was under the impression that this one is not going to be any different from them(soon I realised how stupid I was, that I din’t plan to stay back there for a day or two after the wedding 😦 ). Places that are far and wide.
My feet tread the unknown path,
Path that remains undefined.
I wish to have another night.
Hoping all will turn out right.
I wish to have you by my side.
One more night to hug me tight.
I wish to rest on your shoulder again,
Listening to the plans you made;
And wait for you to cuddle in my arms.
I wish to wake up by your side.
My mornings aren’t the same,
Without the twinkle of your eyes.
I wish for another hug that engulfs me.
The one that makes me feels complete.
I wish you smile at me again.
And I fall in love again.
If no more, I wish for a sign.
I wish it says, “I’ll remember you always.” Continue reading “The Poetic Wreckage of a Creative Soul.”

The city is famous for Somarana temple, but I was more in awe of the serene environment and natural beauty of the place. So, one fine evening I decided to pick up my Camera and roam around the place capturing the minute, pretty details that added up to make it so very attractive. Continue reading “My First PhotoWalk”
